If I am honest I would not have chosen this myself but thanks to Llinos this Portuguese wine pleasantly surprised me. Tropical, fresh, good acidity …. give it a go. Emma.
Ciconia is the Latin term for white stork. The white stork is considered a symbol of luck in Portugal and is native to the forests of Alentejo. The winery is located in the Alentejano region of Portugal. Alexandre Relvas acquired the property with 35 hectares of vineyards in 1997. In the following years he steadily enlarged his vineyards. It is one of the best wineries in Portugal and now has over 100 hectares.
