Johnny Graham arrived in Oporto in 1973 and worked very closely with his ex partner John Smithies in the tasting room for 8 years. In 1981 Johnny and his wife set up Churchill’s and took over three lodges overlooking the river Douro and have since purchased Quinta da Gricha and Quinta do Rio – both renowned Grade A vineyards!
