Italian Dinner Hamper

For the keen cook I have included my favourite risotto rice which is plump and creamy. I love watching this develop in the pan (risotto rice needs pretty well constant stirring, so the cook needs to stand over it lovingly with a glass of wine in hand). Similarly, the Rummo Orecchiette pasta for me, just wins every time. It means ‘little ears’ and is made from durum wheat and holds its shape for the sauce. The balsamic and oil are beautiful either drizzled on salad or onto a hot dish, or simply to dip. Accompanied by two delicious wines and prettily packaged in a recyclable Kraft box with a ribbon.
